It amazes me that people still believe the press about anything, but on the other hand, that works to the advantage of civilization. Jihadist terrorism is in the process of failing spectacularly—yet again—and the reason is that the terrorists believe both their own press and the swooning prattle of the western media.

Prior to July 20, 2015, the nation of Turkey was playing cute little games with the war against the Islamic State. Though the Turks refused to let Kurds cross into Syria to fight the terrorists, almost all foreign Islamic State recruits went through Turkey. Then the Turks made a big production out of providing medical treatment for Islamic State terrorists.

The Turks claim that the photos are fraudulent, but I don’t find it hard to believe that Turkish soldiers would admire the Islamic State. Mustafa Kemal Atatürk imposed secularism by force, and the army protected it by overthrowing governments that became too religious. As prime minister of Turkey, current president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan got wise and replaced all the military commanders with Islamists. Turkey—once considered a model for the modern, secular Muslim nation—has become ever more anti-western and anti-Israel since 2003.

Turkish intelligence armed both the al-Nusra Front and the Islamic State, and it has links to Hamas through the Humanitarian Relief Foundation, which organized the 2010 Gaza flotilla that ended in the Mavi Marmara raid.

So the Turks were playing footsie with the Islamic State, and then this happened on July 20, 2015.

An Islamic State suicide bomber killed thirty-two college students and wounded 104. They were on their way to Kobane, Syria, to help rebuild.

As a result, the Turks have opened up Incirlik Air Force Base to U.S. and coalition operations against the Islamic State. Turkey was the only quasi-friend that the Islamic State had. Murdering thirty-two Turkish students was an act of jaw-dropping stupidity on the part of the Islamic State, but it was bound to happen. Every jihadist terrorist organization eventually overreaches because the violence becomes an end in itself. Murderers grow to love what they do, yet the more they kill, the less of a thrill it becomes, so they have to keep upping the ante in terms of barbarity and risk. They also become addicted to their own notoriety.

Abu Musab al-Zarqawi murdered tens of thousands in Iraq, but since they were Shi’ites, the Sunni Muslim world didn’t care. Then on November 9, 2005, he bombed three hotels in Amman, Jordan, killing mostly Sunnis. Suddenly he became a barbarian who had to be stopped.

Zarqawi pioneered the jihadist beheading video with victim outfitted in an orange jumpsuit.

There was no massive outcry from the Muslim world. In fact beheading videos became and remain all the rage. However, after Zarqawi killed Sunnis, he was betrayed by at least two al-Qaeda operatives, and on June 7, 2006, the US Air Force dropped two 500-lb bombs on his head. He lived for about an hour, despite his ruptured lungs.

The irrationality of the Islamic State is shared by all of the jihadists in the current Middle Eastern war. In Syria, the al-Nusra Front is the official representative of al-Qaeda. The Islamic State and al-Qaeda had a falling out; at the same time, Bashar al-Assad’s Syrian Arab Army (SAA) arrived at a truce with the Islamic State, allowing the latter to attack everyone else who was fighting Assad.

Syria is a lackey of Iran. The Iranians and Syrians arm, finance, and train the Lebanese terrorist organization Hezbollah, and Iran also funds and trains the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas.

However, Hezbollah is being massacred in Syria. The terrorist group has taken so many casualties and is stretched so thinly that more and more analysts believe that Israel will use this period as an opportunity to wipe out Hezbollah once and for all. Why isn’t Iran going all-out to help?

There was another completely deranged development on April 1, 2015. For two years, the SAA had besieged the suburb of Yarmouk, home to Palestinian refugees and the Hamas-affiliated terrorist group Aknaf Bait al-Maqdis. The al-Nusra Front and Aknaf Bait al-Maqdis were allies, defending the suburb. Then on April 1, the al-Nusra Front switched sides and allied itself with the Islamic State. Al-Nusra allowed the Islamic State into Yarmouk for the purpose of destroying Aknaf Bait al-Maqdis. The Hamas affiliate was wiped out, and the few survivors joined Assad, who they had been fighting for two years.

The SAA was fighting the al-Nusra Front but not the Islamic State. The al-Nusra Front was fighting the SAA and the Islamic State. Hezbollah was fighting the Islamic State and the al-Nusra Front. The SAA, Hezbollah, and Aknaf Bait al-Maqdis were armed, trained, and funded by Iran, but Aknaf Bait al-Maqdis was fighting the SAA and allied with the al-Nusra Front, which as al-Qaeda’s representative is also affiliated with Iran. The al-Nusra Front then turned on Aknaf Bait al-Maqdis and became allies of the Islamic State. The handful of Aknaf Bait al-Maqdis who lived then joined the SAA. Hamas and the Islamic State are now at war with each other, and Iran is…is…is…

Iran is funding, arming, training, and fighting everybody in the region.

The mullahs and their slaves—including Foreign Minister Mohammed Javad Zarif—have completely lost their minds.

This always happens. There’s no method to this madness. I wrote earlier that the abused have a great advantage over abusers. Today I demonstrated that on Twitter. An Irish convert to Islam decided to assault me.

He claims to be a clinical psychologist. A George Galloway cultist, he’s notorious for his frenzied Jew-hate. However, he picked on the wrong guy. I knew instantly what his story is. It’s written all over his weak, sheepish face.

He became a Muslim and moved to Indonesia to both atone for and indulge in his appetites, one of which is to inflict pain. After a lifetime of having pain inflicted on me, I’ve become an expert in how to inflict it myself. So I began telling the man what I saw in him; specifically, what his watery, haunted, alcoholic eyes reveal.

His assault began with about forty messages that he thought would hurt me. Instead, he ended up having to block me, because I was manipulating him into exposing more and more of himself. I asked him, for example, why—out of all the available photos of Woody Allen he could’ve chosen—did he post this one?

We all know the answer.

Radical, jihadist Islam is doomed. It can’t defeat those of us who keep our heads. And the Israelis always keep their heads when it comes to war.
